Event Time and Date

Thursday, February 23 2017, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Are you staying in Niagara for February Reading Week? Are you looking for a way to get involved with your community?

Brock University's Student Life and Community Experience team is proud to be hosting Alternative Reading Week - Niagara! This year's initiative will be happening on Thursday, February 23rd, 2017 at locations around Niagara.

Activities will depend on the needs of the community at the time of the event and will vary in tasks. We will be updating the volunteer site list as we hear back from our community partners. *Volunteer site list is on the registration form.

Participants will meet at Brock University (Schmon Tower) at 9:00 AM for registration and then will depart for a day of volunteering. Participants will depart from the volunteer sites at 3:00 PM and are not required to return to the University. Please bring a lunch and wear comfortable clothing with suitable footwear for the volunteer site. Participants are encouraged to wear Brock Volunteer shirts if they have one, and if not, wear Brock swag showing off your Badger pride to the community.

Registration is now open!

Complete the form here: https://experiencebu.brocku.ca/form/start/10140

*Please note that spots are limited for each volunteer site.

Thank you so much for your interest in registering for Brock's Local Alternative Reading Week!
